Water Services

Effective January 1, 2002, garbage collection became a service provided in the Township of Wellesley. While the fee for this service is included on your tax bill at a rate of $80.00 per year, it is actually the Region of Waterloo who administers the service and hires the contractor.
For general local information please click.
For more detailed information you can visit the Region of Waterloo Waste Management website.

The Region of Waterloo's Stage 2 outdoor water use restrictions come into effect annually on May 31st and continue until September 30th.  See the Region of Waterloo for details about your lawn watering and car washing days.

If you have a disruption in water service or experiencing discoloured water please call the Mannheim Water Reatment Plant at 519.571.6208 for enquires.

The Region of Waterloo Wastewater Group is responsible for overseeing the treatment of wastewater generated by the Cities of Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge and the Townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich; several major pumping stations; the Wellesley collection system and the management of biosolids.
