Planning and Development staff provide information and advice to Council and the general public with respect to land use planning including the Township's Official Plan and Zoning By-Law. Planning and Development is responsible for both short term and long range community planning within the Township which includes the processing of Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-law Amendments, site plan approvals, and Plans of Subdivision/Condominium, Minor Variance , Consent/Severance Applications, Zoning Complaince Certificates and provides staff support to the Committee of Adjustment.

All New Home Owner's
For information relating to sheds, pools, fences, lot grading and by-laws, please review the New Home Owner's Guide to: Planning, Building & By-law.  This guide outlines some of the fundamental regulations when building.  Even though you may not require a building permit, it is important to remember, zoning regulations still need to be complied with.
