Municipal Law Enforcement staff of the Township of Wellesley is responsible for the investigation of requests concerning application and enforcement of Townships By-Laws. Staff works to resolve infractions or violations of the Townships By-Laws through education and cooperation. Failure to achieve voluntary compliance may lead to further action which may result in fines or initiating court proceedings.
When considering contacting Municipal Law Enforcement staff, please note that only Municipal By-law related requests can be investigated and that legal advice will not be provided. The names of all parties initiating or subject to a review or investigation are received and kept in confidence, unless disclosure is required by the courts.
